For Teachers

Pickering Public Library endeavours to support our local educational institutions to promote the love of reading. We invite teachers to bring their students to visit the Library and self-guided tours. Visiting the Library encourages students to get excited about books and reading, build strong homework and research skills, become aware of local free resources to support their leisure and academic interests, develop social skills, and so much more. To bring your students to the Library*, please complete the request form by clicking here.
*Please submit your request at a minimum of one month in advance of your desired date and time.
*Please note staff-led tours of the Library are not available at this time.

Invite the Library to participate in your school event!
